Community Safe Awareness Event In Battlefield
A fire department in Greene County will be joining with other public safety and health agencies to hold a community event for public safety.
The event takes place Saturday, October 13th at the Battlefield Fire District Headquarters (4117 West 2nd Street, Battlefield, MO). It runs from 10am-2pm on district grounds.
Local agencies in attendance include DARE, Greene County Sheriff's Office, Mercy Health, Cox Health Systems, and Cox Air Care.
There will be activities for all ages, including a bounce house and safety house. There will also be free concessions.
The event is designed to draw awareness to area safety agencies and inform the community about current safety practices.
