Ash Grove Soldier Killed In Texas
A bizarre shooting in Texas has killed a soldier from Ash Grove.
Detectives say 22 year old PFC Isaac Young died when a gun went off hitting him in the face.
His friend and fellow soldier, Army PFC Patrick Myers told authorities he held the gun to Young's head trying to scare him and cure his hiccups.
Myers told deputies he thought the gun was loaded with blanks.
Young died on the way to a hospital.
Myers has been charged with manslaughter.
Authorities say the two had been drinking.
