Bank Robbed In Mt. Vernon, Suspect On The Run

The Liberty Bank on the business loop in Mt. Vernon was robbed just after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Lawrence County deputies say a man walked in, demanded cash from the teller and ran from the bank.
Nobody was hurt and authorities aren't certain if the robber had a gun.
If you know anything call the Lawrence County Sheriff's office.
Deputies say you should not approach the suspect.
