Multi-State Sex Offender In Greene County Lockup

Investigators say a man who's committed sex crimes in at least four other states is in Greene County lockup for molesting an eight year-old girl near Strafford.
Prosecutors say Ronald Reed fled to Iowa when word got out that he touched the girl inappropriately back in July. He had worked for a carnival under an assumed name, also cutting off his hair and beard.
Reed has failed to register as a sex offender in Colorado, Iowa, and Missouri. He could get 30 years in prison.
