Springfield Police Unveil New Equipment
The Springfield Police Department rolled out some new equipment today...like a mobile crime lab and emergency response vehicle that can be taken to hostage or active shooter scenes. Officers also showed off new cameras that scan cars' license plates that can be put into a local, state and national database. They're used to find people wanted by police and stolen vehicles.
