Branson Road Closures For Ironman Triathlon
Thousands of visitors in Branson today will cause more traffic problems that normal for the tourist town.
MoDOT will shut down Route 465 in Taney County for eight hours for the bicycle portion of the Ironman Triathlon.
That shutdown started this morning and runs through two o'clock this afternoon. A number of other intersections near the strip will be flashing red and directed by Branson police.
During the bicycle race, law officers will direct traffic at these state road intersections where traffic signals will be put on flash:
* Route 265 and Route 376
* Route 265 and Route 76
* Route 465 and Route 76
* Route 248 and Shepherd of the Hills Boulevard
* Route 248 and Gretna Road
