Governor Candidates Debate Today In Columbia
COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) - Missouri governor Jay Nixon and Republican challenger Dave Spence are squaring off in their first debate today.
The pair is expected to discuss economic development and Missouri's economy during today's event which is being held in Columbia.
Nixon, a Democrat is seeking his second term.
Spence, a businessman from St. Louis is a political newcomer.
Libertarian candidate Jim Higgins is also participating in the debate.
