Bass Pro Contract Vendor Off To Prison
A man accused of stealing nearly a half a million dollars from Bass Pro Shops in Springfield has pleaded guilty to embezzlement charges.
Prosecutors say Eugene Black sold figurines and carved crafts as a contract vendor.
His inflated sales reports gave him a larger share in the profits.
He has been sentenced to ten years in prison with the possibility for parole.
