2 Houses Destroyed In Fremont Hills
Crews from a half dozen departments were called to help fire fighters from Ozark battle fires that destroyed two homes on Pasatiempo Drive in Fremont Hills.
Ozark Fire Chief Darren White says the flames were fueled by cedar shake shingles on the roof. The fire then spread to the house next door.
The problem was compounded by a nearby hydrant with low water pressure.
One firefighter was taken to the hospital with back injuries after trying to open a hydrant.
There was no one home when the fire broke out.
Both homes are a total loss.
