12 Arrested In DWI Checkpoint, Saturation Patrol In Springfield
Twelve drunk drivers were taken off the street and put behind bars during a DWI checkpoint and saturation patrol in Springfield Friday night.
The checkpoint was set up downtown at Jefferson and Harrison, with a saturation patrol in the surrounding area.
In addition to the arrests for impaired driving, officers made one arrest for drug possession, two for minors having alcohol, and issued several summons for various license violations.
