Celebrity Chef Brings "Restaurant Impossible" To Joplin
(MissouriNET) - Well-known chef Robert Irvine of Food Network's "Restaurant Impossible" came to Joplin is back in Joplin to film an episode of his show.
Irvine first came to help in the wake of last May's deadly tornado. He says that experience prompted a return trip, this time to renovate the kitchen at the local Boys and Girls Club.
Irvine says the 6,000 square foot renovation is the biggest the show has ever done. He says the hard work is worth it, since it'll have a positive impact on the 230+ kids who utilize the building five days a week.
The renovation will air during the holiday season.
