Joplin To Test New Tornado Sirens on Labor Day
Folks in Joplin may hear tornado sirens going off this Labor Day but they probably won't need to take cover.
The city is completing a final test of the city's storm sirens after new improvements. The upgrade included adding additional locations, installing solar back-up panels, and adding the ability to activate the system from multiple buildings.
The siren test will happen at 10 A.M. on Monday.
