Springffield Police Planning Sobriety Checkpoint
If you're driving drunk in Springfield over the upcoming Labor Day holiday chances are you may be caught and if you are, you will go to jail.
Nearly two dozen Springfield police officers will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint sometime this weekend.
They hope to catch the drunk driver before he causes a crash and injuries or possibly kills somebody.
The operation is being funded by a grant from MoDot.
