Akin Ready To Hit Campaign Trail

(Missourinet) - He's been lying low since before the GOP convention began, now congressman Todd Akin says it's time to resume his campaign to defeat Senator Claire McCaskill in November.
Akin says he understands why leading Republicans want him to quit the race, and he bears no grudge toward any of them.
He says he' s in the race to stay.
Akin says its too early to talk about debates with McCaskill.
She has invited him to take part in four debates.
