Semi Truck Rolls Onto Side, Leaks Fuel On Highway 76

At 8:40 pm Wednesday, the Western Taney County Fire District was called to a fuel leak from a semi truck hauling hay that had rolled onto its side. Crews found the truck at Lakeshore and East Hwy 76 in Taney County, just outside of Hollister. It was leaking diesel fuel from one of its saddle tanks.
Firefighters stopped the leak and then helped the tow truck driver get the vehicle upright. Absorbent was put on the road to clean it and give some traction for cars.
The semi driver was transported to Skaggs Hospital by Taney County Ambulance. As of the time this press release was sent out, their condition is unknown.
All units cleared the scene around 10:40 p.m.
