New Mayor In West Plains
A new leader has taken over at West Plains City Hall.
Mayor pro-tem Jack Pahlmann was sworn in during a special meeting Tuesday afternoon.
He takes over for Joe Paul Evans, who died on August 18th. The 81 year old Evans was recovering from open heart surgery when he passed away.
He was elected to a four year term in 2011.
Council will appoint someone to serve the remainder of Pahlmann's term.
