Man Stabbed In North Springfield Near Downtown Airport

A man has been rushed to the hospital after being stabbed near the airport in northeast Springfield.
The assault call came in from the 2600 block of east Division. Officers found the victim bleeding from what's reported as a stab wound to the chest.
Police say the suspect lives a few houses away.
