Massive Drug Sweep In Texas County
Dozens of drug suspects are behind bars, as authorities lssued more than 70 arrest warrants in what deputies in Texas County are calling, " the best joint effort in a decade."
The sweep was the result of a more than three year investigation and indictments handed up by a grand jury in Texas County.
Most of the charges deal with distribution of drugs.
Deputies were assisted by the Missouri Highway Patrol and officers from the South Central Drug Task Force.
All the defendants will be in court next month.
