Nearly 15-hundred acres have burned in an area off U-U Highway north of Morrisville.
Fire crews from across Greene and Christian counties have been on scene battling flames that climbed 200 feet at times.
A plane with the Highway Patrol has been up, with the pilot guiding crews on the ground as to where the fire is headed and what's in it's path.
Homes, barns and hay bales have been threatened.
Earlier, a fire northeast of Bolivar burned around 300 acres.
That fire is pretty much contained this hour.
