Annual United Way "Day Of Caring" In Springfield
A very special day today in the greater Springfield area.
The United Way of the Ozarks is marking the 20th anniversary of the "Day of Caring" which is the biggest one day volunteer effort.
More than 1700 volunteers have spent thousands of hours on hundreds of projects around the area.
Two food drives are being held today at the Wal-Mart Neighborhood Food Markets to benefit the Ozarks Food Harvest.
