Kinder Will Headline Groundbreaking in Springfield
Missouri Lt. Governor Peter Kinder who also doubles at the state's elderly advocate will help break ground today for a major addition to the Fremont Senior Living Campus in Springfield near the intersections of Fremont and Republic Roads.
The event celebrates the addition of 56 beds of licensed assisted living and 16 beds of Memory Care to the existing 22 villas and 33 apartments.
The memory care cottage is for people with Alzheimer's disease and dementia.
The groundbreaking is at 4 p.m.
The new buildings are expected to open next summer.
