Springfield Cardinals Fall To Naturals 9-8

The Springfield Cardinals comeback effort against the host Northwest Arkansas Naturals fell short.
Being down at one time by a score of 8-1, the Cardinals pushed across four runs in the 7th, added three more in the eight to tie the game, only to lose when the Naturals scored the winning run on a hit in the bottom of the 9th inning.
Game three of the four game set continues tonight at 7:05 with Scott McGregor on the mound for the good guys.
The loss leaves the Cardinals season mark a still impressive 71-56, 15 games over .500.
