Police in Rolla say a man is charged with murder for strangling his mother to death.
22-year-old Daniel Cross is in the Phelps County jail, charged with second-degree murder.
Police went to check on 60-year-old Chong Cross when she didn't show up for work.
Officers found her son in the home and her body inside.
The prosecutor says Cross killed his mother during an argument.
