ST. LOUIS  (AP) -  Even as members of his own party turn against Republican Congressman Todd Akin for his comments about rape and pregnancy,  the incumbent Akin is trying to unseat says he shouldn't be forced out of the U.S Senate race.  Democrat Claire McCaskill said at a campaign stop in St. Louis that Missourians should be allowed to make a choice "based on policy, not backroom politics."
