Nixon To Update Emergency Water Program During Ash Grove Visit
Governor Jay Nixon will visit a farm in Greene County today to update the state's emergency water program.
Nixon will stop by the farm of Kim Keith outside Ash Grove to survey a water well project - one that Nixon says was made possible by his emergency water program.
The state has approved more than 5600 contracts to provide access to water for livestock producers and farmers in Missouri by digging or deepening existing wells.
