Update: St. Louis Police Suspect Robbery In Woman's Death

ST. LOUIS (AP) - Police in St. Louis say they suspect a former Saint Louis University athlete shot to death while visiting from the Chicago area was killed during a robbery attempt.
Authorities say 23-year-old Megan Boken was a former volleyball player at the university who graduated in 2011 and was living near Chicago. The Wheaton, Ill. native died at a hospital Saturday shortly after being found in her car with gunshot wounds to the neck and chest.
Boken was in Missouri for Saint Louis University's annual alumni volleyball game on Saturday.
Police spokesman Dave Marzullo tells the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that detectives are investigating the killing as a probable attempted robbery and hope to review surveillance footage from a nearby intersection.
