ST. LOUIS (AP) - No arrests have been made in the shooting death of a former Saint Louis University athlete.
Authorities say 23-year-old Megan Boken was a former volleyball player at the school who graduated in 2011 and was living near Chicago. She was found with gunshot wounds to the neck and chest Saturday afternoon in the city's Central West End.
Boken was in St. Louis for Saint Louis University's annual alumni volleyball game on Saturday.
Witnesses saw a man get out of her Volkswagen or open the door to it. Police say the two appeared to be arguing and shouting before the man apparently fired two shots into the car before leaving.
Detectives hope to review surveillance footage from a nearby intersection.
