Romney Critical Of Akin "Rape" Comment
WASHINGTON (AP) - Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is distancing himself from congressman Todd Akin who says a woman's body "has ways" to prevent pregnancy after rape. Romney's campaign says that he and his running mate, Wisconsin congressman Paul Ryan disagree with Akin's comments. A Romney spokeswoman says a Romney administration would not oppose abortion in the cases of rape.
