Fatal Shooting At Nightclub In Joplin

The Joplin Police Department was called to 3405 S. Range Line Rd., Joplin, The Juke Box Nightclub, in reference to a shooting. Officers found the 26 year old victim, Charles A Tumbleson. The victim was transported to Freeman Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead due to a gunshot wound.
Joplin Police Detectives continue to follow up leads in an attempt to identify a suspect. At this time there is no one in custody. The suspect is described as a black male. Height approx. 510, weight 180.
We encourage anyone who may have information about the shooting to call 623-3131 Ext. 442 Officers with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Department, Newton County Sheriff’s Department, Webb City PD and Carterville PD have all assisted in the response and investigation.
