Traffic Moving After Cattle Trailer Crash In Springfield
Modot says traffic is moving again after a cattle trailer crashed on the westbound shoulder at James River and Highway 65 in Springfield.
Springfield police say the driver rolled the semi around 3 a.m., leaving 75 head of cattle trapped in the trailer.
15 to 20 head were killed.
Westbound traffic was diverted onto the northbound Highway 65 ramp for nine hours before opening at noon.
The driver had only minor injuries.
Police are looking into what caused the crash.
