Springfield City Council has pared down it's options on how to spend 300 thousand dollars in hotel motel tax money given up by the Wonders of Wildlife.

City Manager Greg Burris says one option is to split the revenue with 60 percent going to non profit groups that promote tourism and 40 percent to paying down bonds for the Jordan Valley and Ice Parks.

The other option would be to use the entire amount for bond payments that are now covered from general revenue.

Burris also tells KTTS News, another idea would be to fund improvements to the Springfield Expo Center will money already collected from the tax.

He hopes to have something for Council to consider in September.
