Springfield police have re-opened traffic near Cherry and Dysart where a man sitting in his car had threatened personal injury. Neighbors were told to stay inside while officers talked him into giving up. The incident had blocked traffic at several intersections in the area east of Glenstone and south of Chestnut Expressway.
