Home Invasion On South Ventura In Springfield

Two men wearing ski masks walked into a home on South Ventura near Bennett earlier this morning. Police say the suspects beat a couple with either a baseball bat or metal rod.
The man who lives there fought back his attackers and the suspects ran from the home into a car.
A woman suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Police believe at least one of the victims and the suspects knew each other
The two men are still at large.
