Company Recalls Animal Snap Bracelets Over Wrist-Cutting Hazard
Recall alert: government safety officials say a group of toy bracelets may wind up cutting the wrists of kids who wear them.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission says nearly 90,000 animal snap bracelets are being recalled. They were sold at Cracker Barrel and Cost Plus World Market stores from September 2011 through February of this year.
There have been eight reports of the metal snap band wearing through the fabric and causing injuries, including lacerations.
