Aldermen Will Discuss Nixa Community Center
City leaders in Nixa will again be talking about the community center and letting the YMCA manage it.
Aldermen voted down the idea of even speaking to the "Y", but some folks on the board want to hear all the options.
Mayor Sam Clifton tells KTTS News turning over day to day operations while still owning the building would free up money for other projects.
Another option would be hiring a full time parks director to develop a system that makes money like the YMCA ,but Clifton says that would take time.
Aldermen will discuss the issue at their meeting Monday night.
