Rally For Joplin Muslims Short On Cash
JOPLIN, Mo. (AP) - A rally to support Muslims in Joplin after a mosque fire is short on funds, but organizers say it will go on as planned. Fire destroyed the Islamic Society of Joplin mosque last week. Rally organizer Ashley Carter says the event is scheduled for Saturday at Landreth Park. She is seeking about $3,000 by tomorrow for insurance and rent.
