A big fire that consumed 300 acres around Walnut Grove last month started as a trash fire.
The sheriff's department says a report has been forwarded to the prosecutor's office for possible charges.
A homeowner on Chelsea Lane had been burning trash in a cinder block fire pit, when hot embers drifted from high winds.
The fire also destroyed barns and hay bales.
