Nixon Visiting Drought Stricken Farms In Polk, Newton Counties
Another visit to the Ozarks from Governor Nixon today.
As before, the drought tops the agenda.
Nixon will visit farms in Senaca and Bolivar seeing for himself how the conditions have affected both crops and livestock.
Nixon will also talk about his emergency water assistance program.
So far, more than 4400 farms around Missouri have received help in digging wells or expanding existing one.
