Springfield Public Pools Closing This Week
City pools in Springfield are getting ready to shut down for the season.
If you use Silver Springs, Meador, or Westport your last day will be Sunday. Folks who go to Fassnight or Grant Beach will have thru Tuesday (1-6:30PM) to enjoy the water.
There are several special events that will open the pools back up.
- Fassnight and Grant Beach will also run regular hours on Saturdays and Sundays through September 2. Also on Labor Day they will be open from 1-6:30PM for the Splash and Sizzle event.
- Fassnight Pool is open for the Back-to-School Splash n' Sizzle events on Friday August 24 and Friday, August 31 from 4-10PM
Admission to the Splash n' Sizzle events is $1 or a canned food item to be donated to Ozarks Food Harvest.
