Large Number Of Speakers Expected At Monday Night Council Meeting
Sexual orientation and marijuana is bringing alot of attention to city council chambers in Springfield.
The clerk's office is expecting over 40 people alone to voice their concerns about the Human Rights' proposed ordinance to add sexual orientation and identity to a list of categories.
The other bill would involve decriminalizing marijuana which can be passed by council or put to the voters in November. The meeting begins at 6:30 at City Hall. Council proceedings will be live on Mediacom cable channel15.1 and 80, At&T's U-verse and the city video stream. This link will work on smart phones and tablets
