Soybean And Rice Crop Faring Well In Arkansas
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service says the state's soybeans and rice crops look god despite the drought. The service says that the National Agricultural Statistics Service projects soybeans to tie the record of 39 bushels per share and rice yields are expected at 6,980 per acre - the best crop since 2007. Sorghum is projected to yield 80 bushels per acre - its best showing since 2008.
