Springdale Couple Charged With Great-Grandson's Death
A couple from Springdale, Arkansas has been charged with causing the death of their two year old great-grandson last week.
Authorities say Joniah Chronsiter was left alone in a hot car with the windows up and the outside temperature was more than 102 degrees.
William and Margete Staten were charged with negligent homicide.
The Arkansas state crime lab ruled the boy died from heat stroke.
The couple left the boy in the hot care while they were shopping at the Wal-Mart in Springdale.
