Man Jumps To Death From Downtown St. Louis Hotel

ST. LOUIS (AP) - A 22-year-old man is dead after jumping from the eighth floor of a downtown St. Louis hotel.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the man lived in the Mark Twain Hotel and jumped about 9 a.m. Thursday. He died a short time later at a hospital.
It wasn't immediately clear what prompted the jump. Police have not released the man's identity until relatives are notified.
