Loughner Expected To Enter Guilty Plea In Tucson Massacre
Today could be the day Jared Loughner goes to prison for the rest of his life for the massacre in Tuscon last year that left six dead and 13 wounded, including former Arizona congresswoman Gabby Giffords.
A federal judge in Phoenix must find that Loughner is competent to make the plea and that he understands what is happening.
The 23 year old Loughner has been undergoing treatment for mental illness at the Federal Medical Center in Springfield for more than a year.
