Springfield House Fire Leaves Man With Life-Threatening Burns

Some potential life-threatening injuries for a man who ended up with second and third-degree burns after a house fire at Mt.Vernon and Glenn in Springfield.
Springfield Fire Battalion Chief David Scheiderer says fire crews found the man outside the home.
Scheiderer says the man, who is about 50, had a hard time speaking to firefighters because of smoke inhalation.
The fire has been ruled an accident.
The fire marshal is still looking for the cause.
