Bloody Man Forgot Keys, Broke Into Own Home
The girlfriend was schocked and almost went into panic mode when she came home during the overnight hours to find her boyfriend on the floor, his hands and arms covered in blood.
Springfield police arrived on the scene near Adams and Kellett moments after the woman made the 911 call.
She was not sure if her boyfriend was even alive, because she could not tell if he was breathing there was so much blood.
Lt. Shawn Williams tells KTTS News that EMT's were able to get the man to respond, and what happened was a simple matter of forgetting his keys.
The man was severely intoxicated and decided to bust out a window to get inside, that's how he ended up cutting himself so bad on the arms and hands.
Williams says the man refused medical attention and did not wish to go to the hospital.
