Drought Getting Worse
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) - How severe is the drought? The USDA says more than half of the counties in America are now classified as natural disaster area because of the hot and dry conditions. Close to 1600 counties in 32 states including Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas and Iowa are now on that list.
