Sales Tax Holiday This Weekend In Missouri
Stores around Missouri are gearing up for what is expected to be one of the top weekends of the year.
Purchases such a clothing, school supplies, computers and other items are exempt from the state sales tax during the Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday beginning Friday and running through Sunday.
It's up to cities and counties to waive their local taxes, but over the years, the sales tax holiday is the second busiest shopping time topped only by Christmas.
