Large Condo Fire In Stone County
Flames have raced through at least thre stories at the Majestic Condominiums near Branson on Highway 265.
This is north of Cheateau on the Lake.
Southern Stone County Fire Protection District officials tell KTTS News this is now a three-alarm fire, and they are also dealing with a restaurant fire in Reeds Spring.
The spokesman says its too early to tell what started both fires or if there are injuries.
Highway 265 has been closed and a boat is being used to pump water from Table Rock Lake to the fire at the Majestic.
Eyewitnesses tell KTTS News they can see the black smoke from 4 or 5 miles across the lake rising into the air.
