Hot Sunday Temps Tie One Record, Break Another
It was hot enough on Sunday to break a record in Joplin and tie one in Springfield.
The National Weather Service says Joplin hit 109, shattering the old record of 105 back in 1986.
That same year, Springfield hit 106. That record was tied today.
